Privacy Policy - Chicken Rider

Rokon Tech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Chicken Rider mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally

Game Progress: Your best score, coins, owned/equipped cosmetics, and settings are stored locally on your device (localStorage).

Account & Leaderboard

Username: When you first play, you choose a public username. We store this username together with an anonymous account identifier to keep your progress and leaderboard entry.
Leaderboard Score: Your best score and chosen username are uploaded to our cloud database so they can appear on the global leaderboard. Your username is public; we do not publish any other personal information.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Email addresses, phone numbers, or real names
Precise location data
Contacts, photos, or other device content
Health, financial, or sensitive personal data
A password or sign-in credentials (sign-in is anonymous)

2. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase for the following: Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in to associate your username and progress with a device-bound identifier), Cloud Firestore (to store and display the global leaderboard), and Google Analytics for Firebase (aggregate, non-identifying usage metrics such as active users and sessions to help us improve the App). Firebase processes data as described in Firebase's Privacy and Security policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements, including rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data, including device information and advertising identifiers, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Apple SKAdNetwork & App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS we use Apple's SKAdNetwork to attribute ad conversions in a privacy-preserving way, and on iOS 14.5+ we request your permission via App Tracking Transparency before using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. You can change this at any time in your device Settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

To save your progress locally on your device
To show your username and best score on the global leaderboard
To understand aggregate usage (e.g., active users) and improve the App
To serve advertisements through Google AdMob

4. Data Storage and Security

Local game data is stored only on your device. Your username and leaderboard score are stored in Google Firebase on secured Google Cloud infrastructure. We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to third parties beyond the services described above.

5. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Sign-in is anonymous and no real-world identity is required. Please choose a username that does not reveal personal information.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Opt out of personalized ads through your device settings, or deny tracking on iOS via App Tracking Transparency
Request deletion of your leaderboard username and score by contacting us (see below)
Clear all local game data by uninstalling the App
Reset your advertising identifier through your device settings

7. Third-Party Assets & Credits

Some 3D models used in the App are sourced from Poly Pizza and used under their respective licenses. Full attribution is available in the in-app Settings → Credits screen.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
