Privacy Policy
Rokon Tech ("we", "our" or "us") makes the Snug: Toss Puzzle mobile game (the "App") for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information is collected when you play, who collects it, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information stored on your device
The App keeps the following on your device so your game is there next time you open it:
- Game progress: unlocked levels, stars, coins, the skins you own and your daily gift streak.
- Settings: whether sound and haptics are on.
- Ad pacing: counters that space out ads (for example, when the last ad was shown).
We do not run servers for the App and do not receive this information. It is removed when you uninstall the App.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location, and does not require an account. Two Google services used by the App collect some information automatically:
Google AdMob (advertising)
Ads keep the App free. The App shows full-screen interstitial ads at natural breaks (after you tap Next, Retry or Home), an occasional full-screen ad when you return to the app after a while away, a banner on the level and skin screens, and optional rewarded ads for extra coins, a hint, skipping a level, extra time or a doubled daily gift. A rewarded ad is only shown when you choose to watch one, and the reward is only given if the ad is watched to the end.
To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob collects information such as your device model and operating system, your IP address and the general (not precise) location derived from it, your device's advertising identifier (on Android the advertising ID and app set ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking, see below), your interactions with ads, and diagnostic and performance information. This information is collected by Google and handled as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Google Analytics for Firebase (game analytics)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, for example which levels are hard, so we can improve it. It records game events such as levels started and finished, stars, coins earned and spent, hints and skips used, and whether an optional ad was watched, together with the screens you visit and basic device and app information (device model, operating system and App version). Events are tied to a random identifier created for this installation of the App (the app instance ID), not to your name or account; on Android, Firebase may also collect the device's advertising ID. Google infers your general location (country or region) from your IP address. We do not set a user ID and do not combine this data with other information about you. Google keeps this data for a limited period set in our Analytics settings and processes it as described in Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
Where required by law, the App shows Google's consent form the first time it is opened, before any ad is requested. Your choices apply to personalised ads and to the ad-related signals Google Analytics receives. You can review or change them at any time in Settings, then Privacy options.
Tracking permission on iOS
On iOS the App asks for your permission to track, using Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow it, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show you more relevant ads. If you do not, the IDFA is not accessed and ads are not personalised with information from other companies' apps and websites. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Apple SKAdNetwork
On iOS, ad networks may use Apple's SKAdNetwork to measure ad results in a way that does not identify or track individual users.
3. How the information is used
- To save your progress and settings on your device
- To show ads, including the optional rewarded ads you choose to watch
- To understand how the game is played and make it better
- To prevent fraud and keep ads working correctly (by Google)
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the information Google collects through AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase as described above, the App does not share information with anyone.
5. Retention and security
Information on your device stays there until you uninstall the App. Information collected by Google is kept and protected under Google's policies, and is sent over encrypted connections.
6. Children
Snug: Toss Puzzle is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help address it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Play without giving any personal information
- Where the consent form is shown, accept or decline personalised ads, and change your choice in Settings, then Privacy options
- On iOS, allow or deny tracking, and change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings
- Remove all local game data and reset the analytics identifier by uninstalling the App
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. We do not hold information that identifies you, so requests about ad and analytics data are best made to Google, but we are happy to help if you contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
