Privacy Policy - Ink Guardian

Rokon Tech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Ink Guardian mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally

Best Distance: Your best distance is stored on your device. It never leaves your device.
Sound Setting: Whether sound is muted is stored on your device.

We do not operate any servers for the App, and we do not receive or store this data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Email addresses, phone numbers, or real names
Precise location data
Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or other device content
Health, financial, or sensitive personal data
Account credentials (no account creation required)
Analytics — the App contains no analytics SDK of its own

2. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements: full-screen interstitial ads between runs, and optional rewarded video ads that let you continue a run once. A rewarded ad is only ever shown when you choose to watch one, and the continue is only granted if the ad is watched to the end.

To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect device information such as the device model, operating system, IP address, general (non-precise) location derived from it, and interactions with ads. On Android this may include the Android advertising ID. This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where required by law, the App shows Google's consent form the first time it is opened, before any ad is requested. You can accept or decline personalised ads; the game plays the same either way.

No Tracking on iOS

The App does not ask for permission to track you through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). Ads on iOS are therefore not personalised using data from other companies' apps and websites.

Apple SKAdNetwork

On iOS, advertising networks may use Apple's SKAdNetwork framework for privacy-preserving ad attribution. SKAdNetwork does not identify or track individual users.

3. How We Use Information

To remember your best distance and sound setting on your device
To show advertisements through Google AdMob, which keep the App free
To offer an optional rewarded ad that continues your run

4. Data Storage and Security

Game data is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App. We do not sell, trade, or transfer personal data to third parties. Data collected by Google AdMob is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.

5. Children's Privacy

Ink Guardian is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require an account and does not ask for any personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help address it.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Play the game without providing any personal information
Accept or decline personalised ads through the consent form, where it is shown
Opt out of personalised ads through your device's settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads)
Reset or delete your advertising identifier through your device's settings
Clear all local game data by uninstalling the App

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights to access or delete personal data. Because we do not hold any personal data about you, requests about ad data are best directed to Google; we are happy to help if you contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
